All 15 (100%) patients with zygomycosis had underlying diabetes while only 4 (21%) with aspergillosis were diabetic.Ĭonclusions: Zygomycosis occurs usually in diabetics, while in aspergillosis the underlying morbidity may or may not be diabetes.
